As with all things, go steady. This isn't an all over the bike cleaning kind of brush. Excessive rubbing or pressure won't do any good and could lead to surface scratching if used on your more sensitive bits.
For all-over bike cleaning, we would recommend the Big Softy and for your really sensitive bits, we'd recommend a sponge or microfibre cloth.
